Today was the big ONE for Brodie!! I can't believe that it has already been a year since this sweet and amazing little boy came into the world! We love him so very much and think he is the best thing ever!! Here are a couple of shots of him from today, I will do another post about his birthday party later!! 11 months

Not for sure about height and weight, he doesn't go back to the doctor until next month.

Brodie has four teeth, two on top and two on bottom. He loves tea, bath time, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. He has become a big daddy's boy, and he babbles a lot. He is holding onto things and walking around but has not started walking on his own. He will eat pretty much anything you will feed him. We have been working on getting him to drink out of sippy cups or through a straw, and he seems to be doing good. Hopefully getting him off the bottle won't be to hard.  We still have to have the pacifier around, at times you will catch him with one in each hand, and he will switch them out every few minutes. We picked up his first pair of "walking" shoes the other day and he wears a 5 extra wide! He is wearing 12 month blue jeans, most shirts are 12 months, pajamas are 12 or 18 months. Here are a few pictures from our 11 month photoshoot!!

10 months

He has two teeth, both on bottom and looks like his top front teeth are starting to come in! He loves sweet tea and pretty much eats what ever you feed him!! Still loves his cartoons and bath time, he has started holding on to things and walking!

I am in the process of planning his birthday party and can't believe we are just a month and a half from him being 1!! Where has time gone!!

Family Christmas Trip 2011

Here is pictures from our family Christmas trip to Gatlinburg, TN. We enjoy spending a few days eating, shopping, playing cards, and spending time with each other. This was Brodie's first trip and he did a excellent job riding, a big thanks to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse & Veggietales (and also GiGi and G-Daddio who entertained him).

9 months old!

Brodie had his 9 month check up today and here are his stats:

Height : 28 3/4 inches long

Weight: 23 lbs 7 ounces

He wears size 3 diapers, has one tooth that has broken through and another not far behind! He wears 6/9 month clothes with the occasional 12 month outfit.  He loves pickles, sweet tea (just don't tell his doctor), and pretty much any food that goes in his mouth. He is pulling up on everything, getting in to everything, and jabbers like crazy. 

It seems like just yesterday we were at the hospital waiting for him to make his entry into the world and here we are already,  just 3 months from him being 1 year old!! I guess I better get to planning the party!

He still pretty much sleeps through the night, usually if he gets up it is just one time about 4 or 5.

Catch Up!!

I am so behind on Brodie's monthly updates, so I am just going to post his monthly pictures and do a really brief recap of what all has gone on since his 4 month old update!

Brodie started doing the army crawl and sitting on his own at 6 months, and at  7 months we had the croup visit, which in turn lead us to our 1st visit to Urgent Care and meds. At 8 months, he has now said Da Da and every once in a while we get what sounds like Ma Ma, he is all over the place and is now pulling up on things like crazy! Mickey Mouse, Special Agent Oso, Jake and the Never-land Pirates, and Veggie Tales are some of his favorite things to watch. We go back to the doctor Dec. 6 for the 9 month checkup, so hopefully I can get better at keeping up with updates and events at the Sanderson home!!

Brodie's Baby Dedication

So I am really behind on posting pictures from Brodie's baby dedication but here they are! His baby dedication was August 21, 2011 at Barnesville Free Will Baptist Church with my dad performing the dedication!

4 Months Old!

Stats:

Weight: 15 lbs 14 ounces (75 % percentile)

Height: 25 inches (just above 50% percentile)

Diapers: size 2

Clothes: 3/6 months and 6/9 months (just depends on outfit)

Takes a 6 ounce bottle every 3 hours during the day and is still sleeping through the night. He has found his feet and loves to lay on his back so he grab both of them. We have given him rice cereal a few times and he seems to like it pretty well. He loves the water, he will splash and kick around when you have him in the pool! He is starting to laugh and talk more every day! We can't believe how fast he is growing up and we fall more in love with him every day!

3 Months!!

What Brodie is up to:

** He is sitting up good in his bumbo seat.

**Just moved into size 2 diapers

**Loves to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

**Is being more verbal and getting louder each day

** Sleeps from 10 to 6 almost every day without waking up

**Takes anywhere from 4 to 6 oz every 3 hours

**Wears size 3 months or 3/6 months outfits

**Has already made his first boat ride and also been in the pool for the first time

** Has attended his first high school graduation ceremony and wedding

We just fall more in love with this little guy every day!!

2 Months Old!!



At Brodie's 2 month checkup his stats were:

Weight- 11 pounds 7.9 ounces

Length- 22 1/4 inches long

He got his first set of shots and was such a trooper!!

He is wearing size 1 diapers, 0-3 and 3 month clothes! He is still taking 4 ounces during the day and a little more at night. Our usual routine at night is to give him his last bottle around 10 at night and then he will sleep to 5:30 or 6:00 the next morning! He is smiling and talking more every day. He loves to have his diaper changed and does really good taking his baths. He does excellent at holding his head up and has even started holding his bottle everyone once in awhile. We fall more in love with him every day!!

One Month Old! April 4, 2011

At one month old Brodie is taking 4 oz. each feeding with the exception of when he takes more before bedtime. Usually his last bottle is around 10 p.m. or so, and then he wakes up for another bottle no earlier than 4 a.m! At his 2 week check up he weighed 8lbs and measured 20 1/2 inches long. Not for sure what he weighs in at now, his next doctor's appointment is May 4th. He is an awesome trooper when we go out places, and usually the only time he gets fussy is when you are a little late at fixing his bottle! I came back to work April 18th :(, I hated leaving him but his MiMi is taking care of him during the day while I work so I know he is being well taken care of! Ben has adjusted very well at not being the only one in the house to get attention and he seems really protective of Brodie!
