This week Baby S, you are the size of a prune! You little arms can already flex, and your knees & ankles are taking shape this week. Your little tooth buds are also forming this week as well your stomach is producing digestive juices & kidneys are producing large quantities of urine.
Just a little over 2 weeks until our next appointment & we are so excited to hear your little heart beating!!

This week "Baby S" is the size of a green olive. Your head has straightened out and more fully developed, your little ears are becoming more prominent. Your liver, spleen, and gallbladder are forming and although I can't feel it yet, you are starting to make spontaneous movements with your arms & legs.
Hopefully on our next appointment, your daddy & I will be able to hear your little heart beating!!

Well, it has been an exciting week around our house, we just found out that we are expecting our first child! The due date is set for February 25th, and so I am right around 7 and 1/2 weeks right now. Starting next week, I am going to try and do a weekly post for what is going on. Mainly these blogs will be a way for me to record my pregnancy and scrapbook this amazing journey. So far, no major morning sickness, although there are times when food does not look all the great. Last Thursday July 8th, we went to see my doctor to confirm what we already suspected and since this was my doctor that deals more with infertility, they explained once they were pleased with the ultrasound and could see the baby's heartbeat that they would transfer me to the OB/GYN that I wanted to be my primary doctor for the pregnancy, so they did an ultrasound and everything looks great so far, seeing the baby's heartbeat was amazing. So I go to see Dr. Edwards (who will be my primary doctor) on July 19th. We are both really excited as well as nervous about this new chapter in our life.
