38 Weeks & counting!!!

Tommorrow will be 38 weeks and let me just say each day we get closer to Brodie's due date the more excitement there is around the Sanderson home! According to my "What to Expect" app on my phone it says our little monkey is weighing in around 7 lbs and should be measuring somewhere around 21 inches long. So at my last appointment there was a little concern in that I am still 6 lbs under my pre-pregnancy weight and while they don't believe there is anything to be concern about because I am measuring just like I am suppose to, they are going to do another ultrasound on Friday the 18th to make sure he is measuring like he is suppose to.   At this point he could choose to make his arrival at anytime and since there is a full moon on the 18th , who knows,  we may have our little monkey sooner than his due date! Ha Ha!! I haven't been as good about keeping up this blog through my pregnancy like I should, so hopefully once Brodie arrives I will do a better job expecially since I will have pictures to upload, so until next time!!

Dates to Remember!!

Although I doubt hardly anyone besides me will want to remember the following dates, in order to have a record of them for later on in life I am going to do a quick post of the important dates throughout my pregnancy!! So if you are not interested please feel free to skip this post. 

**July 2nd- took two pregnancy positive pregnancy test
** July 8th- Doctor's Appointment with Dr. Blackwell at UAB to confirm pregnancy with ultrasound (got to see heartbeat)- set due date as Feb. 25th
**July 19th- first doctor's appointment with Dr. Edwards- moved due date back to Feb. 28th
**August 16th- Got to hear baby's heartbeat
**October 14th- had second ultrasound to determine gender (IT'S A BOY!!!)
** January 7th- had ultrasound to check low-lying placenta, everything looked fine and Brodie was a little camera shy during this ultrasound
** February 2nd- first "exam"- fingertip dilated & as the doctor said "still a little thick"
