13 Weeks Post

Baby S,

You are the size of a lemon.
You are growing by leaps and bounds!! Your movements are more ballet-like now, smooth and fluid.
Your neck is getting longer and you are starting to take a more straightened-out appearance. You could also be sprouting some hair on your little head and your eyebrows are filling in as well.

Our last doctor's appointment went great, and thanks to Baby S's cooperation, we got to hear the heartbeat!! It was such a amazing and sweet moment. Our next appointment is set for Sept. 14th. And just less than 2 months until we find out boy or girl!!

12 Week Post

Baby S,

This week is marking a turning point for you!! The task of developing your new bodily structures are coming to an end and most of you systems are fully formed. Now will being the maintenance phase! You weigh about a half ounce now and are about two and a half inches long.
Only a couple more days until your Daddy and I can hear your little heart beating for the first time and we are so excited!!

Not much of an update this week but hopefully more to update on next week!!

11 Weeks Post

This week, Baby S is the size of lime.
Baby S, this week you are about 2 inches long and
your hair follicles are starting to form. Your fingernail and toenail
beds are beginning to develop also. Your little body is straightening
and your torso is lengthening.


As for me, this pregnancy has been good to me so far,
no major morning sickness, just mainly the fatigue and soreness in "certain" areas, and
not having a big appetite. My main drinks are lemonade, water, and the occasional sprite.
I actually lost a few pounds between my first doctors visits, and no major cravings.
Although apples & cucumbers have been a major part of my meals for the first part
of this pregnancy.

It is crazy to think I am starting my third month of pregnancy and in just a few weeks the first trimester will be over. And in just two short months we will know if Baby S is a boy or girl!!
